ISF Portland March Chapter Meeting

The next ISF Portland Chapter meeting will be on March 25th at 4pm at the offices of One Economy Corporation downtown.  One Economy is located here:

920 SW Third Avenue
Suite 400 [AKA fourth floor]
Portland, OR 97204

The March chapter meeting will focus on Risk Management: how to make sure our Internet initiatives actually make it to the web and survive once they are there.  James Fishback will present a brief presentation of some effective risk management principles to get the conversation started.

Afterward, we will have our regular roundtable discussion, which was very popular last meeting.  Based on attendee feedback, we will be sending out meeting notes to everyone after this meeting which will include URLs, notes, etc. from our discussion.

Please register here so we can plan appropriately for refreshments, and we look forward to seeing you there!

For those that are interested, after the chapter meeting we will move down the street for a social hour at Paddy’s Bar & Grill.

Looking for “Hot Seat” Volunteers
We’re currently looking for volunteer projects/campaigns/applications for our “hot seat” at chapter meetings.  You give a presentation on your project to the meeting attendees, who then provide constructive feedback for your initiative based on their diverse experience.  Gain free professional consultation and advice, or attend as a critic and sharpen your skills while learning from the valuable insight of your peers.

For more information, please contact James Fishback at 503-389-0603 or james@pacdevelopment.com.

ISF Portland February Interactive Roundtable

The ISF Portland Chapter will be holding their next chapter meeting on February 18th at 4pm at the offices of One Economy Corporation downtown.  One Economy is located here:

920 SW Third Avenue
Suite 400 [AKA fourth floor]
Portland, OR 97204

The least expensive parking is that associated with the Pioneer Place
Mall, entrances on 3rd and 4th Ave between Morrison and Yamhill.

Our February meeting will focus on building relationships within the chapter.  We’ll conduct a round table for members in attendance and discuss topics for the next couple of meetings. Hint: this is your chapter and we want your feedback!  What projects are you working on and what is your Internet strategy for 2010?

We will also discuss ISF Summit possibilities for 2010.  If you are interested in volunteering for a leadership role in that discussion, please let me know.

Finally, for those that are interested, after the chapter meeting we will move down the street for a social hour at Paddy’s Bar & Grill.

For questions or to RSVP, please contact James at 503-389-0603 or  james@pacdevelopment.com.

ISF Portland Chapter Meet-up

Join the Portland Chapter for a meet-up at the Bridgeport Brewpub (1313 NW Marshall Street in Portland) on December 10th, 2009, starting at 530pm.  This informal meet-up will provide an opportunity to get re-acquainted with Chapter members, network, meet the new Chapter Director (James Fishback), and learn about the renewed focus of the ISF on establishing critical relationships between our members.  Bring three business cards, two questions you want to have answered about Internet strategy, and one idea you have for how the chapter can better serve you.

Atlanta ISF Chapter 2009 Meeting Schedule

We are pleased to announce the 2009 meeting schedule for the Atlanta ISF Chapter. Meetings will generally be held on the third Thursday of each month and start at 7:00 pm. Details for each month’s meeting, including location, direction and discussion topic will be posted here and emailed to all current Atlanta ISF members by the first of each month.

Please note that the Atlanta chapter membership has thus far universally expressed a desire for a collaborative, discussion-oriented meeting format rather than presentations. Accordingly, we will strive to structure most meetings in a manner that is consistent with that preference.
