<p>At this meeting&nbsp;we will present&nbsp;key results and trends&nbsp;from the Internet Strategy Forum&#8217;s original research project,&nbsp;the <strong><em>2009 Corporate Internet Strategist Study</em></strong>.&nbsp; The study <strong>examines the scope, structure, influence, education,&nbsp;salary levels and more for in-house Internet strategists</strong>.</p>
<p>This is the only research study of its kind focused exclusively on the in-house corporate Internet strategist position, a term we use to define our membership:&nbsp;employees working for an organization who are responsible in some way for driving strategy and implementation for that organization&rsquo;s Internet presence in some way.</p>
<p>The results are based on responses from over 260 Internet Strategy Forum members around the U.S. The complete results report, which will be over 60 pages long, will be available in mid-January as well.</p>
<p>The underwriter for this research project&nbsp;is <a class="offsite-link-inline" title="WelchmanPierpoint" href="http://www.welchmanpierpoint.com" target="_blank">WelchmanPierpoint</a>, a Web Operations Management consulting company.</p>

<p>As in past years, after about an hour we&#8217;ll move from mingling to a round-table discussion, throwing it open to any profession-related topics, questions, etc. that are on your mind, which will help us to determine some of our meeting topics for the coming year. Past attendees have told us that this group discussion is time-well spent.</p>
